  • Front-end Developer / Designer

    SpectorSoft is looking for a creative Front-End Developer / Designer with 4+ years of experience to join the internal marketing team. The ideal candidate will strive to achieve business goals through creative thinking and detail-oriented production.

    Responsibilities (But not limited to):

    • Plan, wireframe, and design digital user interfaces and websites
    • Code designs into interactive prototypes and production-ready websites, including mobile-friendly responsive design
    • Code to web standards and keep up-to-date with new technologies and trends
    • Update and maintain existing websites, including content updates, visual enhancements, landing page creation, and performance profiling/optimization

    Qualifications (Required):

    • Expert in front-end programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) including responsive design
    • Expert understanding of progressive enhancement, graceful degradation, and cross-browser support
    • Strong design, typographical and interactive skills
    • High attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment and receive creative direction

    Qualifications (Preferred):

    • User experience
    • Expert in Photoshop and Illustrator
    • Back-end programming familiarity, including ASP.NET and Ruby
    • Experience with source control, including GIT
    • Bonus points for an active GitHub/Bit Bucket/CodePen profile

  • Account Executive—Inside Sales

    At SpectorSoft, we are looking for highly motivated, energetic inside sales professionals that are driven to succeed and wishing to move forward into a career in software sales.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Accountability to forecasting, prospecting and pipeline building and achievement of quota.
    • Achieve a target goal of customer contacts per day, utilizing out bound calls to prospects and current customers.
    • Execute or coordinate webinar resources, product demonstrations and evaluations for partners and customers.
    • Maintain a high level of knowledge of SpectorSoft solutions while understanding the competitive environment and industry trends.
    • Demonstrate the features and benefits while tailoring the message to the specific customer's needs.
    • Maintain accurate customer/prospect database using SalesForce.com.
    • Act as a trusted resource to your partners, supporting them in both pre and post sales situations.
    • Actively participate in team meetings, share ideas for success and use experience to brainstorm out of the box strategies.

    Qualifications (Required):

    • The individual must have 3+ years professional experience in direct B2B sales or selling through the channel.
    • Proven track record of prospecting, accurate forecasting, building a sales pipeline and achievement of quota.
    • Ability to achieve sales goals while maintaining a focus on the customers and partners in your territory. Motivated to hit the number.
    • Energetic self-starter who engages customers, prospects and partners with a consultative sales approach.
    • Strong time and account management skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience with CRM required. SalesForce.com preferred.
    • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook & Word).

    Qualifications (Preferred/Plus):

    • Technology sales experience is a plus.
    • Experience in software, specifically security software is a plus.
    • Bilingual—Spanish or French is a plus.

    SpectorSoft offers a competitive salary with a non-capped commission plan.
