  • Web Developer

    SpectorSoft is a dynamic software company that is looking for the best and brightest Web Developer to join its development team. The person that we need is someone who isn't afraid to dig in and get their hands dirty, and who offers new alternatives and suggestions to existing processes. You should have experience with classic ASP, MS SQL, C#, Ruby, and Rails. You will interface with every department in the company, so good communication and documentation skills are important.

    Some of the things you’ll be doing include:

    • Working on new projects to extend our sales systems capabilities
    • Extending these systems to handle a wide set of data sources, including API-based web and SQL systems
    • Applying your experience, creativity, and technical skills to solve complex problems and satisfy customers
    • Working with other developers on our team to add to our strong foundation through modern coding methods and techniques

    If you also have experience with Salesforce development and working with APIs to glue systems together, we'd really like to talk with you.

    Qualifications required (but not limited to):

  • Product Marketing Manager

    The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for development and execution of product-related marketing activities. Working closely with sales, marketing and product management teams, the Product Marketing Manager is responsible for product segmentation and positioning models, defining the competitive landscape, developing and executing go-to-market strategies.

    The Product Marketing Manager is also responsible for development of marketing collateral to support various products/solutions; including market intelligence, customer insight, positioning, content development, and sales enablement.

    Essential Functions:


    • Understand the market opportunity/trends/growth potential across product lines
    • Develop market penetration strategy
    • Identify new addressable market opportunities
    • Develop buyer personas and target market profiles
    • Identify and analyze (SWOT) major and emerging competition


    • Lead development of product positioning strategy
    • Participate in development of corporate growth strategy
    • Develop and manage product launch program


    • Collaborate with Marketing on promotional plans
    • Work with Product and Marketing teams to develop compelling content that effectively articulates our value proposition: editorials, web content, blog posts, brochures, & presentations

    • Demonstrated track record of success as a Product Marketing Manager in a software company.

  • Account Executive—Inside Sales

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Accountability to forecasting, prospecting and pipeline building and achievement of quota.
    • Achieve a target goal of customer contacts per day, utilizing out bound calls to prospects and current customers.
    • Execute or coordinate webinar resources, product demonstrations and evaluations for partners and customers.
    • Maintain a high level of knowledge of SpectorSoft solutions while understanding the competitive environment and industry trends.
    • Demonstrate the features and benefits while tailoring the message to the specific customer's needs.
    • Maintain accurate customer/prospect database using
    • Act as a trusted resource to your partners, supporting them in both pre and post sales situations.
    • Actively participate in team meetings, share ideas for success and use experience to brainstorm out of the box strategies.

    Qualifications (Required):

    • The individual must have 3+ years professional experience in direct B2B sales or selling through the channel.
    • Proven track record of prospecting, accurate forecasting, building a sales pipeline and achievement of quota.
    • Ability to achieve sales goals while maintaining a focus on the customers and partners in your territory. Motivated to hit the number.
    • Energetic self-starter who engages customers, prospects and partners with a consultative sales approach.
    • Strong time and account management skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience with CRM required. preferred.
    • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook & Word).

    Qualifications (Preferred/Plus):

    • Technology sales experience is a plus.
    • Experience in software, specifically security software is a plus.
    • Bilingual—Spanish or French is a plus.

  • Software Engineer—Core Components

    SpectorSoft is looking for a Software Engineer to add to their talented Development team!

    As one of the key members of the core software development team, you will be responsible for either independently working on a feature of a large project, or leading a small team of engineers in development of features and subcomponents.

    Responsibilities will include providing work estimates, participating in the design effort, developing code modules, unit and integration testing and performing code reviews. Software engineers are expected to work with limited supervision and be able to independently deliver software and integrate with the larger project team.

    The successful candidate should have:

    • Minimum of 3+ years Windows programming in C/C++.
    • Willingness and motivation to learn new products, processes and tools.
    • Experience with multi-threaded design.
    • Nice to have: experience building multi-tier complex Windows applications.
    • Must have the drive and motivation to roll-up your selves and tackle any challenges that come your way.
    • Experience with commercial software applications is a big plus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Mac experience a plus.
