Web Filter Server
The Server Status button on the Web Filter Server administration window opens a status box where you can view ongoing Client web events taking place in real time. The purpose of this display is to verify that Client web activity is indeed being detected and processed by the Web Filter Server. If no filtering is taking place, you see only confirmation of the database connection and the listening port. If filtering is taking place, you see each web request made by a user and whether it is allowed (0) or blocked (1).

Clear Display - Click this button to clear the currently displayed information.
Disable Display - Check this option to turn off the display of events on this box. Clear to view all user web requests.
WFS Server Verbose Log - This option affects the Web Filter Server log file, which you view from the main WFS administration window. Check this item when instructed by SpectorSoft Technical Support to increase the detail shown for each web filtering event logged by the Web Filter Server. Clear this option to keep the default, brief log, which logs only two lines for each event.
Exit - Closes the Web Filter Server status box.
