Configure Computers
By default, the Client captures conversations that occur in chat rooms (at web sites) or via Instant Messaging (Yahoo, AOL, MSN Messenger). You can turn off this type of recording or change settings in the Chat/IM panel of the Deployment Utility or Client Settings.
Capture Chat and Instant Message Activity - Check this option to enable recording. Clear the checkbox to disable all recording of chat or Instant Messaging conversations. This setting has no effect on the other recording tools.
Advanced - Click the Advanced button for Advanced Chat/IM Settings. The Advanced settings let you turn OFF recording of Chat/IM by protocol (such as MSN Exchange or Skype), or specify additional ports to monitor.
