Reserving / Verifying Client Licenses

Manage Computers

Every Client requires a license. You can only use the number of licenses assigned to you under your current serial number. For organization, you can reserve Client licenses before actually installing the Client.  

To reserve a license:

  1. Select Manage Computers.

  2. Right-click a computer that does not yet have an installed Client and select All Tasks and Reserve License. The item is active only if the Client has not been installed. A message box opens informing you that a license has been reserved under your serial number. Click OK to close the box.

You can get a summary of all reserved and active licenses from the License Summary box. Select Manage Computers, open the Action Menu, All Tasks and License Summary. Click Details.   

To verify a Client's license:

  1. Select Manage Computers.

  2. Right-click a computer where the Client is installed. Select All Tasks and select Verify License. A message box opens informing you that a license has been verified for the selected Client computer under your serial number. Click OK to close the box.

Serial number and Client license information is also provided in the Setup Info for the computer (right-click the computer in Manage Computers and select Properties).
