Control Center Properties
You can view a log file, set viewing options, and enable group management from the Control Center Properties. Right-click the Control Center icon in the left pane, select Properties, and then click on the General tab. The General tab configures basic Control Center settings.
The Control Center audits its own activities in a log file. The log entries include updates delivered to Control Center views from background network computer scanning, user initiated actions, and some network activity. The log file provides an audit trail for technicians to trace activity and track down problems.

Log File - The log is stored in C:\...\Spector 360\CEAdminRT.log.
Log Detail Level - The log can be recorded in three detail levels: Low, High, and Debug. During normal usage, the Log Detail Level should be set to Low. To debug events or track at the maximum detail level, it should be set to Debug.
Note: Log files can become quite large when the Log Detail Level is set to High or Debug for an extended period of time.
Log File Size - Set the log file size in megabytes (MB). The maximum log file size is 16 MB. The default size is 1 MB. Once the specified file size is reached, the log file automatically truncates (or trims) itself to half the size specified, keeping the most recent entries in the file.
View Log - Click this button to open the current log in the Notepad.
Selections you make under "Computer Views" affect the computer list in the right pane of the Control Center.

View All Computers in Configure Computers View - Check this option to display all computers with a Client installed, a Client install pending, or a Client uninstall pending in the Configure Computers view. Clear this option to display ONLY computers with a Client installed.
Maintain Column Sort During Background Updates of View - Check this option to force the Control Center to maintain the sort of the computer list "as is" after a refresh. For example, if you have clicked the Domain column header to sort the computer list by domain, a refresh of the list will not change how it is sorted. Clear this option to return to the default column sort after a refresh.
Spector 360 allows you to manage and configure multiple computers at once, as a "group." By default, all computers belong to their domain group. If you select Show Groups at the bottom of the right pane, domains instead of computers are listed. To apply actions to the group, and to define custom groups, you must enable group management on this panel.

Enable Computer Groups Management - Check this option to allow grouping of computers and to apply actions to a group. Clear this option to manage individual computers. See Setting up Group Management.
Note This feature is only valid if Load Startup Computer List From File is selected in the Network Properties tab.
