Primary
Server
From the computer the Primary Server is installed on, open the Primary Server user interface by double-clicking the double arrow icon in the Windows notification area or right-click the icon and select Administration. If the Primary Server is not installed on the same computer as the Control Center, the Primary Server notification area icon is not be displayed until the Primary Server computer is restarted following installation.

The Primary Server user interface provides read-only information about the your current installation including:
Version - Software version and build number of the Primary Server.
Last Update - Displays last time the software was updated.
Communications - Displays IP port configured in the Primary Server settings.
RevLevels - Displays current software information. This information helps you determine if you have the latest support for recording web-based email and security (stealth) from SpectorSoft.
Serial Numbers - Displays the registered serial number and the number of Client licenses reserved, in use, and available.
Buttons on the Primary Server window allow you to stop/start the service, obtain updates, view the log file and enable/disable the Windows Firewall exception.
Stop Service - Stops the Primary Server service.
Updates - Check and download the latest Signature File Updates from SpectorSoft. After receiving the updates, the next time the Clients check-in with the Primary Server, they will automatically get updates as well. This file includes updated Web email capture as the format of these Web sites can change frequently.
View log file - Access the Primary Server log file if requested by a SpectorSoft support representative.
Serial Number - Displays the Serial Number Registration dialog box.
Windows Firewall - Get Windows Firewall (Windows XP OS only) status. You can also disable the Windows Firewall exception for Port 16770 for troubleshooting purposes. By default, every time the Windows Firewall Settings dialog box is opened and then closed, the firewall exception for Port 16770 is re-enabled.
You can hide the icon in the Windows notification area by right-clicking the icon and selecting Hide Tray Icon.
