Client computers running under Windows 98/Me and Windows XP Home operating systems may not have the services enabled required to fully integrate with the Control Center. The Spector 360 Administrator's Guide provides complete instructions for configuring these computers to be recorded.

It is possible to activate services on these operating systems in order to receive an installation remotely and run in integrated mode. However, the easiest solution is to just make sure File and Printer Sharing is enabled and then install the Client manually. |
To monitor these computers you must:
Enable File and Printer Sharing.
Enable Administrative Share C$.
Have account credentials with local Administrator-level access to these computers (on a domain network, this can be the Domain Administrator account).
Ensure there is TCP/IP connection between these computers and the Primary Server and the Data Vault Server.
Install the Client manually.
Monitor the Client in non-integrated mode (see the Administrator's Guide).
