Secure Access - Hotkey Sequence

Spector Pro automatically provides a hotkey sequence, which you must type to open the Viewer in the Stealth mode of operation. (It can also be used with the Visible mode of operation).

The program defaults to Control + Alt + Shift + S. This means that you must simultaneously press the keyboard's Ctrl key, Alt key, and Shift key, and while all of these keys are pressed, you also press the key for the letter S.

You were informed of the sequence and prompted to alter it during installation. If you did not, you are still using the default sequence. After installation, you can reset the hotkey sequence at any time.

To change the hotkey sequence:

From the Configure Security pane:

  1. Hotkey - This field shows the sequence currently in effect.

  1. Click Change to open the Hotkey window.

  1. Select any combination of Ctrl, Shift, Alt, Windows and a letter by clicking each box to check or uncheck the options.

  2. Click OK to accept the changes you have made, or Cancel to reject them. The Hotkey window closes. If you accepted a new sequence, it now appears in the Hotkey field.

  3. Click OK to save the changes you have made, or Cancel to remove them. The Settings window closes.

Click OK at the bottom of the Settings window to save the changes you have made.

Next you will review Secure Access: Mode of Operation.
