Accessing the Settings Window

To open the Settings window:

Click the Settings button at the top right corner of the Viewer , OR
Select File > Settings from the menu bar.

The Settings window opens.

Navigating the Settings Window

To navigate the Settings window:

Click on each activity or function listed in the Navigate pane to display the corresponding Customization pane. (There are no settings to adjust for Online Searches).
Review existing settings.
Customize the various options to suit your needs. The first option for each activity always allows you to turn the recording on or off. By default all activity types are set to be recorded, except for Network Activity.

Some activities and functions contain advanced settings. Under normal circumstances, you will not need to change them.

Spector Pro advises that only advanced users change these settings, as this could alter Spector Pro's ability to reliably capture data.

It is possible that you may be instructed to change a setting by SpectorSoft Technical Support to correct specific issues that affect the functioning of Spector Pro.
