Taking Snapshots Manually

Whether or not Capture Screen Snapshots is turned on, you may want to take a snapshot of what is on the screen RIGHT NOW. You can take a snapshot of what is currently on the screen by pressing the Snapshot hotkey sequence.

Setting Up the Snapshot Hotkey Sequence

Make sure that the new hotkey sequence does NOT conflict with any Windows or Spector Pro hotkey sequence, including the sequence that opens Spector Pro.

 

To set up the snapshot hotkey sequence:

From the When To Record pane:

  1. Click Snapshot Hotkey . The Hotkey window opens.

  1. Select any combination of Ctrl, Shift, Alt, and the Windows key .

  2. Click in the None text box and type any letter or digit.  

  3. Click OK to accept your selections, or Cancel to reject them.

  4. Click OK at the bottom of the Settings window to save the changes you have made.
