Changing Settings on the Android

eBLASTER automatically begins recording activity and sending Activity Reports to your email address as soon as it is installed and configured. You can adjust recording settings at the Control Panel website, but some options, such as Enable Removal Protection and Uninstall are only available at the device itself.

To change settings at the device:

Open eBLASTER at the mobile device. Dial your access code or use the device browser to access www.ultraaccess.net and type the access code. At the login prompt, touch the Password field and use the keyboard to type your eBLASTER password. Tap Login. The eBLASTER splash screen appears, followed by the main menu.

   

General Settings

Select General Settings on the main menu to change the Access Code, Password, and other settings. These settings are also available from the remote Control Panel.

Support: These options assist in troubleshooting with SpectorSoft Technical Support.

Advanced: Use these options only when having trouble.

Check this option when you plan to record Web History or use Web Filtering. The option is automatically enabled when you select Web History activity recording.

Check this option if eBLASTER fails to record on a regular basis.

Clear this option if Web recording and filtering is NOT important to you, you are not having problems, and you prefer to keep eBLASTER completely stealthy.

Recording Settings

Select Recording Settings from the main menu to control what is included in the Activity Report. Clear the checkbox next to an item to skip a type of reporting.

When you select Web History logging, a message appears with a link to the instructions in this guide.

Schedule Settings

Select Schedule Settings from the main menu to control the frequency and time of report delivery. eBLASTER automatically sends Activity Reports to the delivery email address once every 2 Hours or when 20 events have been captured. Use the Activity Report settings to control the number and length of each report. Use the Activity Forwarding settings to control frequency of forwarded messages and photos.

30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours (default), 4 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours

20 events (default), 50 events, 100 events

Activity Forwarding

Turn on forwarding of activity so that you receive reports right away.

A photo must be saved to the device's memory card (rather than to the "Device") before eBLASTER detects and forwards it. If the phone has a microSD memory card installed, this happens automatically.

Email Settings

Select Email Settings from the main menu to change the email address where you receive reports and how email is sent. The email normally sent is FROM noreply@spectersoft.com with the SUBJECT "eBLASTERMobile."

eBLASTER Version

The release and build number of the eBLASTER installed on this device. Make sure you check for updates. If you contact Technical Support, they will require the version number.

Serial Number

The serial number used to install eBLASTER on this device. The serial number may be required for support, documentation, Knowledge Base and to access updates.

Report Address

The address currently set to receive eBLASTER reports is displayed here. To change this address, go to Email Settings.

Monitored Number

This device's telephone number is displayed for your information.
