You can create a keyword list by either:
Add - Add a single word or phrase
Import - Use a word processor to create a long list of keywords, save it as a text file and import it.
For a company that has multiple installations of eBlaster, having the ability to import the same keyword list for all the installations saves having to type in the list for each installation. SpectorSoft's scripted installation enables your Network Administrator to create all the configuration options for the eBlaster setup and then place that installation on an employee's computer without having to go to each computer and install the system. For more information, click Import Keyword File. To export a file, click Export Keyword File. Notice that the keyword you added is now displayed within the large box.
You can only add one keyword at a time. If you add more than one word, eBlaster considers this to be a string of words and will only look for those words in that order.
When choosing a keyword, be specific or you may end up receiving alerts about activities that don't interest you.
eBlaster will automatically look for whole words only. A whole word is one that stands by itself. For example: if you are monitoring for the word "sex," eBlaster will not look for words like "Essex" or "Middlesex" — unless you remove the checkmark next to Match whole word only in the Keyword box.
To define a long list of keywords, use the Import function after creating the list in a word processor.
After making any changes to the keywords, you must click Save. eBlaster will save your changes and close the Control Panel.
If you make a mistake and want to start over, click on the Cancel button before you click the Save button.
