Report Security Overview

eBlaster improves report delivery security with the following features for sending secure email attachments:

• ZIP Support - Allows email to be forwarded using a password-protected .zip file.

• Communications Transport Layer Security (TLS) - Allows secure email transmission on networks using this protocol. This ensures that Email reports can't be intercepted, opened and read.

ZIP Compression and Password-Encrypted Activity Report Delivery

The Activity Report is compressed into the popular ZIP format and is sent using the same rules as a normal Activity Report. You will need a password, that you designate when setting up your Report Delivery Options, to open and view the zip file once it arrives via email.

Communications TLS

eBlaster will send your reports using secure communications Transport Layer Security if:

• You have select the Direct SMTP or Relay SMTP method of Activity Report delivery,
  
  and

• your ISP or SMTP server supports this method.
