The Report Time Frame is the date and time period of the recorded activity. It is determine by:
Report Sending Interval - Determine how often an Activity Report is sent; the default is 60 minutes. This setting is changed in Report Delivery > Report Sending Interval.
When to Record - eBlaster is configured by default to record all activities by all users on a monitored computer. There may be times you want to suspend recording. This setting is changed in When to Record > Reporting by Date/Time Schedule.
The report time frame may cover a longer period if:
The Activity Report could not delivered. There may be delays in delivering the activity report because the monitored computer was not connected to the Internet at the scheduled time, the user was logged off, or the computer was turned off.
Inactivity (no keyboard or mouse activity) is detected on the monitored computer. When inactivity is detected for the configured period (fifty-nine (59) minutes by default) eBlaster will send any current report, and will wait for activity to occur on the computer before sending another report. This is to prevent you from receiving blank reports during periods of user inactivity.
eBlaster Control Panel was opened. Opening eBlaster resets the delivery time for reports to the time eBlaster was closed plus the report delivery frequency. For example: assuming a report delivery frequency of sixty (60) minutes, if eBlaster had been recording for thirty (30) minutes, then the program was opened and was closed five (5) minutes later...eBlaster would deliver the Activity Report sixty (60) minutes after eBlaster was closed. It would contain activity for a ninety-five (95) minute time frame.
The Activity Report time frame will begin at the time the last delivered report ended.
The Activity Report time frame will end at the time the next delivered report will begin.
There should be a consecutive sequence of time with no gaps by combining the time frames of all the reports delivered to you.

Note Notice that the first three Activity Reports are received every hour as scheduled by eBlaster. The last report, which includes activity from the same day as the previous three, is not received until the next day and covers a much larger time period. This is most likely because the user logged off of the computer, shut the computer off, or disconnected from the Internet. |
