Report Sending Interval

eBlaster will send you an Activity Report email showing activity recorded beginning from the time the last report was sent. You can configure the Report Sending Interval to send you reports either:

Report Schedule and Internet Connection

eBlaster does not automatically connect to the Internet to send a report. If a scheduled report is overdue to be sent and the computer is not connected to the Internet, eBlaster delays delivery until it detects an Internet connection. This is done to ensure an unattended connection to the Internet is not made which might reveal the presence of eBlaster to the monitored user. The program is designed so there are no indications of an Activity Report having been sent by eBlaster.  

For Example If the computer is online from 9:23 AM to 10:45 AM, goes off-line, and then comes online from 6:15 PM to 6:25 PM, you will receive a report for 9:23 AM to 9:53 AM, a report for 9:53 AM to 10:23 AM, and you will not get the next report until 6:15 PM, covering 10:23 am to 6:15 PM. The next report will cover from 6:15 PM until the next time the computer goes online, which might be the next day.

Notes

  • If the computer is not connected to the Internet or a company network Activity Reports can be delayed . If there is no connection to the Internet, you will not receive reports at the frequency you configured.

  • Once you are familiar with this program, we suggest that you ask for reports less frequently, such as once a day.

To change the Report Sending Interval:

  1. Open the eBlaster Control Panel.

  2. From the Top Toolbar, click Options and then from the Left Toolbar, click Report Delivery. Show Me
    The Report Delivery window is displayed.

  3. Schedule a report sending interval using either of the following options:

  1. Click the Send Every__Minutes option check box.

  2. Click the up or down arrows to change interval minutes.

  • Once a day at

  1. Click the Once a day at check box.

  2. Select hour and click the up or down arrows to change.

  3. Select minute and click the up or down arrows to change.

  4. Select seconds and click the up or down arrows to change.

  5. Select AM/PM and click the up or down arrows to change.

  1. Click Save to save changes
    or
    click Cancel if you do not want to save your changes.
    The Control Panel closes.

  • Set Report Sending Interval between 1-999 minutes

  • If using SpectorSoft Email Relay Server, set Report Sending Interval between 30-999 minutes. If you set it to less than 30 minutes you will get an error message.
