Using a Relay SMTP Email Server

Using this option requires advance knowledge of email servers and their applications. If you are unsure about using these options - don't.

To import a Relay SMTP email server:

  1. Open the eBlaster Control Panel.

  2. From the Top Toolbar, click Options and then from the Left Toolbar, click Report Delivery. Show Me
    The Report Delivery window is displayed.

  3. Click Options.
    The Delivery Options dialog box is displayed.

  4. Select Relay SMTP and click Options.
    The Relay SMTP Options dialog box is displayed.

  5. Click Import.
    A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

Note You can also type the email server host directly in the text box.

  1. Click Yes or Cancel.

  2. Verify your email server host (named or IP address) is now displayed in the SMTP Server text box.

  3. Verify SMTP Port text box displays 25.

  4. If your SMTP Server requires authentication before it will send a message, select User Server Authentication check box and type a valid Account Name and Password.

  5. If using TLS option, select either Required or Use if Available.

  6. If using Validate Server's Certificate with TLS, select check box.

  7. Click OK to return to Delivery Options dialog box.

  8. Click OK to close dialog box.

  9. Click Save to save changes
    or
    click Cancel if you do not want to save your changes.
    The Control Panel closes.
