Troubleshooting
After upgrading Spector CNE, a single Client's status information is unavailable in the Control Center Monitor view. The solution is to delete the older Client service file sysmonserv.
Spector CNE Client early releases (including Beta Test versions) used a local Client service named sysmonserv to communicate with the Control Center, Data Vault and Primary Server. Newer versions of Spector CNE use a local Client service with a different name. The old service sysmonserv is not deleted when installing a newer Spector CNE Client version. This can cause problems as these two services want the same resources and cause a conflict. If the old sysmonserv service starts before the new Client service, the new service will not initialize properly and the Control Center will not be able to retrieve status information from the Client.
Perform Control Center diagnostics for Client Service. More...
Verify Client Service is properly working.
From Control Center Monitor Computer View, verity status information for that computer is available. If not available, there is a conflict.
