Vault
You can move the Data Vault software component from the current network server to another network server.
Before you move the Data Vault, back up the Data Vault storage folders.
After you move the Data Vault, use Configure Clients to change the Server Communication with the Data Vault. Be sure to "push" the new Client Settings out to network Clients when you are prompted.
Open the Control Center and select the Control Center icon in the left navigation pane.
Select Action
or right-click Control Center and then select Properties.
The Control Center Properties
box opens.
Click the Data
Vault tab to display properties for the Data Vault.

Before you move the Data Vault, click the Archiving button under "Windows File System Storage." Use the Archive Now option to back up your Data Vault folders to a network location or to removable media. See Archiving Data.
Click the Uninstall
button.
A message prompts you to confirm uninstalling the Data Vault.
Click Yes.
A message informs you when the Data Vault is successfully uninstalled
and a computer restart is required.
Click Yes to restart the computer to complete the uninstall.
After the restart, open Control Center Properties again and select the Data Vault tab.
Click Install.
Use one of the following to select a computer to install the Data Vault:
Type in text box - enter computer to move server to and click OK. Computer name must have \\ before the name.
Browse method - the Find Computer dialog box is displayed. Select a network computer and then click OK.
Click Yes
to verify installation.
A message informs you that server settings have been changed.
Click OK.
Verify the Data Vault service is running and the icon is in the system tray.
