Manage/Configure Computers
The Computer Properties box is available from both the Manage and Configure Computers views. If the computer is detected by the Control Center, this Computer panel displays information about the computer. If the computer is NOT detected, you can use this panel (from the Manage Computers) to provide the information.
To view or edit computer properties:
Select the Manage Computers view. Right-click a computer and select Properties.
Computer Name - Name of the computer supplied when you "added" the computer to the Manage Computers list. This field cannot be changed.
Description - By default, there is no computer description. Click the Edit button next to this field to open a Computer Description box, type a description, and click OK. The Description appears next to the Domain name in both the Manage Computers and Configure Computers lists.

Domain - Network domain (or Local) of the computer supplied when you "added" the computer to the Manage Computers list. This field cannot be changed.
Group - The Group to which the computer belongs. By default, a computer is grouped with its Domain (or Local). If you have set up Group Management, the computer's specific group appears. You cannot change the group here, but you can return to the computer list, right-click the computer and select All Tasks > Change Group.
Computer Integrated with System Software: This checkbox determines whether or the computer is "integrated" with the Control Center for remote installation and management.
If the computer cannot be detected or does not have the required Windows services for the Client to run in integrated mode, deselect this option. This allows you to fill in information manually and manage the computer in non-integrated mode. When you deselect this option:
Edit buttons appear next to the fields following this option.
If the computer is "Not Detected," or no operating system appears in the next field, you are prompted by the below box to select an operating system.

Operating system - If the computer is detected by the Control Center, the operating system and version are automatically supplied. If the computer is NOT detected and you deselect the above option, or if click Edit next to the Operating System field, the Computer OS Names box appears. Use the drop-down list to select the computer's Windows operating system. Click OK to display the OS in the Computer Properties panel.

System Root Folder - By default, the Control Center identifies the root folder for the Client computer as C:\Windows. If you are managing the computer in non-integrated mode, you can click Edit and enter a different folder.
System Task Folder - By default, the Control Center identifies the Task folder for the Client computer as C:\Windows\Tasks. If you are managing the computer in non-integrated mode, you can click Edit and enter a different folder.
System Configuration File - Displays the file selected during Client installation to supply Client settings. If the Client has NOT been installed, no file name appears. By default, the Configuration file is Settings.ini. You may have different files for different types of installations. Click Edit to Browse to or type in the name of the configuration file (.ini) that was used to install the Client on this computer.
OK - Click to apply changed settings and close the Properties box
Cancel - Click to close the box without applying changes.
Apply - Click to apply changes without closing the box.
