Deployment Utility
The final panel of the Client Deployment Utility allows you to choose how the Client Recorder installs itself on network computers.
Reboot Client Computer after Installation?
By default, the Client automatically reboots when the installation is finished. Leave this item checked to close all applications and restart the computer as soon as the Spector Client is installed. Clear this item to install without a reboot. The Client will not be fully installed or operational until the Client computer is restarted.
Check this option to use unchanging file names for the Client Recorder software. SpectorSoft normally installs monitoring software with filenames that change with each installation to remain undetected. You may prefer to install fixed filenames for the Client and make sure those files will be excluded from antivirus / anti-spyware detection and removal.
Check this option if you have applications deployed using Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V), formerly SoftGrid. This option allows the Client to record activity within these applications. If you do not check this option, the App-V applications will not be properly recorded.
