Configure Computers
You can configure the Client to send an email immediately when a keyword is detected. The email contains information about the keyword and the activity occurring when the keyword was found:
If in a Web page, the Web page URL
If in Keystrokes, the surrounding keystrokes entered in the application
If in a Chat/IM conversation, a portion of the conversation
If in Email, the entire email is forwarded
To receive email when a keyword is detected:

Send Email Notification - Check this option to have the Client send an email when a keyword is found. The email includes the keyword, where it was found, and some other information. Clear this option if you don't want email notification. The Keyword Alert still shows up in the Viewer as a recorded event. If you select this option, you must select a Server Type and specify an Email Address.
Once Every - Set to the number of minutes you want the Client to wait before sending another email notification. The default is 15 minutes (in a range of 1-999 minutes).
If no keywords are found, no message is sent.
If the Client detects only one keyword the entire day, you will receive only one email message.
If the Client detects a keyword (for example, "shopping") several times within a half hour, you may receive two email messages.
Once an alert has been sent, if the Client detects additional keywords, it will NOT send another alert until the configured number of minutes (15 minutes) has passed.
Lower the frequency of notification if you aren't concerned about being notified immediately. All keywords that have been detected will be included in the email that you do receive. Increase the frequency for special, high-risk situations.
Note: With notification set to every 15 minutes, the receiving email address for a large network with many computers could receive hundreds of messages in an hour. You may want to lower the notification rate if you have a large network.
Server Type - Determines how the email will be sent. Use the Advanced settings to configure the Mail Server name and any necessary credentials for accessing the server. More...
Direct SMTP - Deliver the email directly from the computer via TCP/IP (Internet) using the SMTP protocol to the SMTP server of the email address specified in the email address box. The Direct SMTP method of delivery can be inconsistent. Many mail servers now deal with the problem of spam by refusing to accept Direct SMTP from a computer rather than an ISP. Test the email delivery and switch to Relay SMTP if the server rejects the email.
Relay SMTP - Deliver the email using the SMTP protocol to relay the email through an intermediate SMTP server. For example, you could use a private account from "mail.mywebsite.com." The Client computer must be able to access the server on the Internet (if not on the network), and you must use the Advanced button to specify the mail server, name, type, account and password.
