Configure Computers

Configure Program Activity recording by the Client in the Programs panel of the Deployment Utility wizard or in the right pane of the Client Settings window. The settings are the same in each case.

Capture Programs - Mark the checkbox to enable recording. Clear the checkbox to disable recording of program activity.

Inactivity Timeout n Minutes - (Default is 3 minutes) The amount of time after mouse or keyboard activity in a program window has stopped before program is considered "inactive." If a user is typing, clicking the mouse, or moving the mouse within a program window, the program is "active."

Once the inactivity time is exceeded, all continuing inactivity—including the Inactivity Timeout duration (3 minutes)—is recorded as inactive time. Active time for a program window are periods where an "inactivity event" did not occur.
