The Client
The Windows Task Scheduler is a software component that allows a script or program to be scheduled for execution at a particular time. When the script or program is run by the Task Scheduler, it is run in the background. The Control Center requires an enabled Windows Task Scheduler on computers where you are installing the Client. When you request a remote install, the Client Install file is copied to the computer and scheduled for execution by the Task Scheduler.
Use Client Computer Diagnostics to verify the Task Scheduler. By default, the Task Scheduler is installed and enabled for most Windows computers.
The Task Scheduler is NOT installed for partial or custom installations of Windows NT. Because the Task Scheduler is installed with Internet Explorer, on Windows NT computers, you can perform a complete installation of Internet Explorer (version 5.0 or later) to ensure the Task Scheduler is installed.
If the Task Scheduler is installed but has been stopped on a computer, the Control Center will automatically start the Task Scheduler provided the user has Administrator privileges for the computer.

Go to the Manage Computers view of the Control Center.
Right-click on the computer name and select All Tasks > Diagnostics.
