Data Viewer
You can get a view of all files in the current folder. Open the Data menu and select Show Data Files to see instantly the amount of disk space the folder uses, the dates and file size of each individual file, and access options to save the files elsewhere or delete selected files.

|
|
If you are using a remote standalone Viewer, you must have permissions to delete files. |
The File Management view shows every file in the currently selected folder:
Filename - Name of each data file, snapshot or email attachment file.
Date - Date and time the file was created, not the time the recording occurred.
Size - Size of the file in bytes.
Event Count - Number of events in the file.
Type
- Type of recorded data in the file.
Users: User lookup file
All: All types of recording
Snapshots: Screen Snapshot file
Attachments: Email Attachment file
To see disk space used:
Look at the bottom status bar for the Total bytes used by the data in the folder.

Select one or more files and look at the bottom status bar for the bytes used by the selected file.

Files are encrypted and readable only by the Viewer. A "lookup" or Users file is necessary for the Viewer to access and read the files. Snapshot files can be removed without compromising other recorded data. |
