Master Dashboard Login Only 1
The list of domains the Dashboard presents for setting criteria can become extremely long. By defining domain groups, you can make it possible for users to select "types of domains," rather than individual domains. Examples of groups might be:
Clients: A group of domains belonging to clients can be excluded or included, depending on whether you are looking for productivity or negative activity.
Competitors: A group of domains belonging to your competitors can be used to track either competition research or inappropriate communications.
Inappropriate: Domains your users have been visiting for entertainment, sports, shopping, job searching or banking could be grouped to focus on possible misuse of time and resources.
Forbidden: These domains would be sites you want employees to stay away from, period: known pornography or hate sites, movie downloading, or whatever you consider to be off limits.

Access to certain domains can be completely blocked from all or specific users. Use Website Filtering in the Dashboard Management tool, or block sites on a Client-by-Client basis using Client Settings (see the Spector 360 Administrator's Guide). |
When domain groups have been defined, rather than picking and choosing from all domains, the Dashboard user can select Domain Groups to include or exclude from Dashboard reports, such as, "Clients," "Entertainment," "Banking," or "Forbidden" groups.
To group domains:
Click Management and select the Domain Groups folder in the navigation pane.
Right-click anywhere on the right pane and select New from the pop-up menu. A New Group window for Event Domain Group appears.

In the New Group window, type a Group Name (up to 20 characters including spaces).
In the Description
field, type a description for the group.

Next to Group Type, select Specific
Domain:
All domains known to Spector 360 are listed in the left "Available
Event Domains" list. Click in the list and type the first character
of a domain name to move quickly through the list.
Select a domain from the left column list. Use the Shift and Control keys to select multiple programs.
Click > to send all highlighted domains
to the right hand "selected" list. (The >> button sends
all domains in the available list to the selected list.)

Click < to return highlighted domains in the "selected" list back to the "available" list. Click << to return all domains back to the "available" list.
When you have selected the desired domains, click Save and Close on the toolbar. The window closes and the new group appears on the Domain Groups window.
