A Master login can set up standardized reports for all Dashboard users by defining the reports as part of a template login profile. See Copying a Login.

The Reports provide all the power of the Quick View charts in a more traditional presentation format, ready for printing and reviewing. Five types of reports are available:  

You can adjust the Criteria and the Report Settings for any report, except Statistics Reports.  From the Report Preview window, print, export, or email any report in just a few clicks.  

A Master Login can schedule reports to be automatically generated and delivered on a regular basis.  For example, receive File Transfer reports by email, in a file folder, or on a printer, every Monday morning before you even open the Dashboard.

Managing Reports

To manage reports from the right pane:

Double-click a report to view it in the Preview window. Select a report, right-click and choose one of the following options

Viewing a Report

The Dashboard provides predefined reports for every activity type in the left navigation pane. The "Favorites" folders provide ideas for creating and collecting reports you most often need to see.  

To view a report:

  1. Click Reports in the lower navigation pane.

  2. Select a Reports folder at the top of the navigation pane to view its list of reports in the right pane.

  3. Double-click a report in the right pane of the Report tool window. If the report Criteria is NOT a Statistics report, the Criteria box opens.

  4. On the Criteria box, click OK to accept the default criteria or make adjustments to the General and/or Event Criteria.  General Criteria includes dates, computers, and users to include in the report. Event Criteria depends on the type of activity being reported.

You can select Bypass Criteria Dialog in the General Criteria box to go straight to the report without displaying the Criteria box the next time you open this report.

When you click OK, the report appears in a Preview window.

    When you are finished, close the Preview window by clicking the Windows X close box or the Close button on the toolbar.
