
Web Filter Server
You can check the status of and control Web Filter Server settings from this tab under Control Center Properties. To open this window, right-click the Control Center icon in the left pane and select Properties, then click on the Web Filter Server tab. This panel provides information on the location, port, and credentials the Web Filter Server uses.
To view or change Web Filter Server properties:

Computer Name - Name of the computer where the Web Filter Server is installed now.
Move - Click the Move button to move the server to a different computer. Requires re-initializing the Clients.
Listen IP Port - The Web Filter Server listens on port 16771. Change this port only if there is a conflict on your network. If you change the port here, you will need to reinitialize the Clients with new Server Communication settings.
Set Credentials - Click this button to view or change the account credentials under which the Web Filter Server (a Windows service) is operating (initially set at installation). These credentials also provide access to the Spector 360 Database so that the Web Filter Server can receive web filtering instructions. More...
Start Svr - Active when the server is stopped; click to start the Web Filter Server Windows service.
Stop Svr - Active when the server is running; click to stop the Web Filter Server Windows service.
View Server Log - Click to view a log of server activity.
To view or change the Database Connection properties:
The Web Filter Server Properties panels indicates how the server connects to the database.

Server - This field displays the Spector 360 SQL Server instance (computer and database) the Web Filter Server connects to acquire the filtering instructions. Click the ... button to display a box that allows you to select a SQL Server instance on a different computer.
DB Connect Account Info - This field displays the type of credentials used by the server to access the Spector 360 Database. The credentials will be the same as set by Set Credentials above.
LocalSystem and Windows - The service currently uses the local system account.
DOMAIN\user and Windows - The service currently uses a Windows network account.
Username and Database - The service currently uses SQL Server credentials to access the database.
Click the ... button to open the Database Account Information window and change the type of account used by the server. More...
