
Managing Your Installation
Your Spector 360 installation allows for a certain number of Client licenses. You may purchase additional Client licenses at any time.
You can install one Client for each license; if you have a 50 Client license, you can install 50 Clients, no more.
If the Client is removed from a computer, the license remains reserved for that computer and can only be installed on another computer with the same name on the same network. License reservations are held indefinitely.
If you are recording a Windows multi-user server, then a license is required for each unique user connecting to the multi-user server. For example, a 50-computer license would allow for the installation of the Client onto a Citrix MetaFrame server configured for 50 unique users.
Note: Spector 360 uniquely identifies a Client computer on the network by using its Windows computer name. If the computer name of the computer is changed, another license for that computer will be used in order for the Client to continue to record the computer.
To purchase additional Client licenses:
Have your serial number ready.
Look for your serial number in the Help > About screen in the Control
Center. You can also find it in your original email purchase receipt or
on the back of the CD holder (if a CD was purchased). If you have misplaced
your product serial number, contact us.
Contact SpectorSoft and purchase the
additional licenses.
SpectorSoft will make the appropriate changes to your license agreement
and will update your serial number to include the additional licenses.

Re-register your existing serial number.
Go online to the SpectorSoft Registration page or
open the Primary Server Administration window from the Windows task bar and select
Register SN.
Unlock the client licenses. This will unlock the new Client licenses and enable the Primary Server to validate the additional Client installations. Follow the instructions in Serial Number Registration.
