If an error stops a Backup, Archive, or Restore operation, it usually means a Virus Protection program has interfered with files or file counts, a file or files have been manually removed from a folder, or the local system (SQL Server instance) does not have appropriate access to the location in question. Here's what you can do if an error stops your Backup, Archive, or Restore:
Turn off Virus Protection before attempting the operation again.
Attempt to restore files that may have been deleted from the Backup or Archive folder via Windows file management.
Make sure the local system account (SQL Server instance) has permissions to read or write to the Backup, Archive or Restore location. The SQL Server instance operates under the security of the system from which you are running the Dashboard.
Try increasing the error tolerance up to 100. See Database Configuration. A few errors will not compromise the entire restored database. You can always check the operation's log file to see which data was impacted by the error.
