The Data Explorer tool allows you to view and analyze data for all users by activity type. Each Data Explorer folder in the left pane displays a set of data forms in the right pane. For example, you can select the Favorites folder and open a  Keystroke Events form.  You are prompted to use General and Event criteria to focus the data—such as searching for "XYZ Company" in all keystrokes from last week. Data matching the criteria loads into a separate Events Window with summary and detailed information about each event where any user typed that phrase.

Viewing Data Forms

Data Explorer lists forms in a folder by Name (activity type) and description.

To view a data form:

  1. Click the Data Explorer button at the bottom of the Dashboard navigation pane.

  2. Select a Data Explorer Folder at the top of the left pane.

  3. Double-click a data form in the right pane. A Criteria box opens, prompting you to filter or search for data.

  4. Accept or change the General Criteria and Event Criteria to limit the data shown.

Select Bypass Criteria Dialog on the General Criteria panel if you want to skip the Criteria box the next time you open this form. You can always adjust criteria from the Events Window. Select Save Criteria to save changes for this form.

  1. Click OK on the Criteria box.  A separate Events Window opens.
If you see <No Data Available>, there was no data that matched your selections.

  2. In the Events Window, click Load Events in either the upper left Navigate pane or in the Summary pane to populate the lower Events pane with records. See Using the Events Window for complete information. You can close the Events Window (or use the Window menu) to return the main Dashboard window.

Use the Auto-Load feature to automatically load the currently selected Navigate or Summary data group into the Events grid. Open the Data Explorer View menu and select Autoload Events.
