The Data Explorer tool allows you to view and analyze data
for all users by activity type. Each Data
Explorer folder in the left pane displays a set of data forms in the
right pane. For example, you can select the Favorites
folder and open a Keystroke
Events form. You are prompted to use General
and Event criteria to focus the data
Data Explorer lists forms in a folder by Name (activity type) and description.
To view a data form:
Click the Data Explorer button at the bottom of the Dashboard navigation pane.
Select a Data Explorer Folder at the
top of the left pane.

Double-click a data form in the right
pane. A Criteria box opens, prompting you to filter or search for data.

Accept or change the General
Criteria and Event Criteria to limit
the data shown.

Select Bypass Criteria Dialog on the General Criteria panel if you want to skip the Criteria box the next time you open this form. You can always adjust criteria from the Events Window. Select Save Criteria to save changes for this form. |
Click OK
on the Criteria box. A separate Events Window opens.
If you see <No Data Available>, there was no data that matched
your selections.

In the Events Window, click Load Events in either the upper left Navigate pane or in the Summary pane to populate the lower Events pane with records. See Using the Events Window for complete information. You can close the Events Window (or use the Window menu) to return the main Dashboard window.

Use the Auto-Load feature to automatically load the currently selected Navigate or Summary data group into the Events grid. Open the Data Explorer View menu and select Autoload Events. |

To use Data Explorer:
In the Data Explorer tool, right-click a form to display a menu of options.
Double-click a form to open an Events Window. More...
Right-click on a form to copy, share, delete or edit the description of the form.
Right-click on a form to change its Criteria. More...
Create a new Data Explorer form. More...
Customize the Data Explorer folders and folder contents. More...
Share customized Data Explorer forms or folders with other Dashboard users. More...
Refresh the forms with the latest data.
