Master Login
The Spector 360 Database comprises several databases, which for the most part are self-maintaining. Minimal database knowledge is required. A Master Login can monitor the status of the databases, perform backups, and manage disk space issues.

Note: Be sure you have a Dashboard installed on the computer where the Database resides, because some operations can be performed only on the computer where the data resides.
View all database jobs and their current status.
View the Job History for each database job.
Schedule regular backups or perform immediate backups for security of the data.
Schedule Process DV jobs to process types of recorded activity for Dashboard viewing more or less frequently.
Schedule Space Management jobs to run automatically.
View currently available backups.
Restore a backup (SA only).
Delete a backup (SA only).
Browse to and restore a backup to a fresh Spector 360 Database installation on a new computer in the event of a system failure.

View all databases, their versions, archive status, maximum and current size, and disk space they use.
View a History of backups and other actions for most databases.
View Statistics to see what data the DATA VAULT DB and STORAGE databases contain.
Create a report from Database Statistics.
Archive a full STORAGE database to move it off the system.
Restore an archived STORAGE database to make older data accessible again.
Change the location for File Storage folders containing Email Attachments and Screen Snapshots (Spector360Data).
Define a share name for the File Storage folder location (if desired) to be used by all Dashboard logins.
If you are using the Standard / Enterprise SQL Server, use the SA account to set a maximum Database size.
Determine how memory is used.
Turn on debug logging and indexing.
Set the location of the Database data and logs.
Set the location for Backup and Archives.
Specify whether Screen Snapshots and Email Attachments should be copied with Backup / Restore operations.
Set the maximum number of errors before a Backup / Archive / Restore process stops.
Enable automatic space management.
Set up automatic archiving and deletion of archives.
Set up automatic deletion of old data records.
Set up automatic deletion of Backup sets.
