A message appears in a user's web browser when the user attempts to access a web site that has been blocked. This lets the user know the site is off limits. A default "Blocked Web Site" message is provided, but you can change the text and format of the message. You can also add a hyperlink to another location that might provide additional explanation or offer the user an opportunity to request permission to go around the filtering.
The current "Blocked" message is displayed in main Website Filtering Status pane.
To change the message:
Click the Edit button below the Blocked Web Site message area. An Edit Blocked Web Site Message box opens.
Remove the existing message and type the new message.
Use the formatting tools along the top of the Edit box to set the message appearance. You can change the font type and size; apply boldface, italics, or underline; align the text as you wish; and select and change the color of the text and the message background.
Click OK at the bottom of the box to save the message.

To add a hyperlink to the message:
Select the text where you want the hyperlink to appear.
Click the Hyperlink button. This button
is not active until you select text. A Hyperlink box opens.

Select the type of link to create:

the network.

The target depends on the type of link you chose (above) and could open
an .html page, a document at a file folder location, or an email addressed
to an administrator who needs to know when someone wants to circumvent
the filter.

Click OK. The link is in place.
Click OK
to save the message. Whenever a web site is blocked, the Blocked Web Site
Message appears users, and users will be able to click the link for the
desired connection.
