Master Login
User Groups make it easier to select users as criteria. Rather than hunting through a long list of Users to make selections, the Dashboard user selects a single group from the shorter User Groups list. The Dashboard then shows activity of all users in the group on charts, reports, and data forms. In addition, defining groups of users simplifies the chore of giving Dashboard logins access to specific users. Initially, this list is empty. You must define groups for your organization.

For example, if you group all users by department, it will be easy to give department managers a Dashboard Login with access only to their particular group.
To group users:
Click Management and select the User Groups folder in the navigation pane.
Right-click anywhere in the right plane
and select New from the pop-up
menu. The New User Group window appears.

In the New User Group window, type a Group Name.
In the Description field, type a description for the user group.
Select the Group
Type:
Specific Users: Lists all users in the "available"
column allowing you to select individual users for the group.
All Users from Specific Domains: Lists all domains in the "available"
column, allowing you to select all users in one or more domains.

Select a user or domain from the left column list. Use the Shift and Control keys to select multiple users.
Click > to (or double-click) send all highlighted users or domains to the right hand "selected" list. (The >> button sends all users or domains in the available list to the Selected list.)
Click < to return highlighted users or domains in the "selected" list back to the "available" list. Click << to return all selected users or domains back to the "available" list.
When all desired users are in the "selected" list, click Save and Close on the toolbar. The window closes and the new user group appears in the list of groups in the right pane.
To use User Groups Management:
Create a new user group by clicking New on the toolbar (or right-click > New).
Change a group's users, name, or description. Right-click on the group and select Edit.
Delete a selected user group by clicking Delete on the toolbar (or right-click > Delete).
Import users and user groups. Right-click and select Import. More...
