When you create or edit a Custom Category, it's possible to import a list of domain names or IP addresses. This is more efficient then entering domains one by one. It is also useful when the installation is fresh, with little data to select from, or when you have an existing list of domains or IP addresses that you would like to block.
The list must be a text file
Domains in the list can be separated by commas, tabs, line breaks, or spaces
The import accepts domains in the
following formats:
example.net
www.example.net
subdomain(s).example.org
or IP addresses in the format n.n.n.n
The import adds to (does not replace) the current Custom Category list
The import will not "repeat" domains that already exist in the Custom Category list; duplicate domains are skipped
To import a list of domains:
In Custom Categories Management, right-click and select New or Edit to open the New/Edit Custom Category window.
Open the File menu at the top of the window and select Import Domains.
Navigate to and select the text file
you wish to import. Click Open.

Confirm that you want to import the
selected file by clicking Yes.

Wait for the domains to be imported. If you click Cancel, the import stops.
A message confirms the number of domains
that were successfully imported. Even if you canceled the operation, some
domains may have been imported. Click OK.

If there is an error in the file, a message appears, and the import
will only accept what it interprets as a valid domain or IP address. Accepted
domains or IP addresses appear in the Custom Category list.
