Spector 360 logs all typed keystrokes, including hidden characters and keystroke combinations. The Dashboard allows you to call up what was typed, when, where and by whom. Use the Keystrokes Event Criteria to focus your search for recorded data.
Limit the display of keystroke events to those containing matching characters or keywords in the keystrokes or in the windows caption of the program where the keystrokes are taking place.
To search for keywords:
Type the keywords you want to match, and then select one of the following fields in which to search. For more about keyword matching, click here.
Include partial matches: Check to look for a partial match; for example, the search word "man" would match "mankind" or "manage" in any of the following data fields.
Keystrokes: Match keystrokes typed and return the events.
Windows Caption: Match text in the Windows title bar; the Windows caption usually includes the name of the document, subject of email or the user messaging.
Focus in on keystrokes made in specific programs, such as Word, Excel, or Windows Messenger.
Select from:
Select from the Program(s) drop-down list and specify individual programs or groups of programs you wish to include or exclude. For example, you might INCLUDE all email applications to obtain a report of everything typed in the user's outgoing mail. There may be Program Groups defined to make selection of programs by type easy. See Viewing by Program.
