Quick View Panels

When you select Quick View, a list of "panels" appears in the upper navigation pane. Select one of the following panels to view predefined Quick View charts. Most charts focus on the "top," the "bottom" or the "trend" of users/programs/domains or other resource within the criteria period.  

 Favorites - Productivity

Modify these predefined "favorites" to reveal employee productivity at your organization. Productivity charts show instantly who's wasting time and who's getting work done, and can be used to justify employee performance reviews, guide new employees to better habits, and watch out for wasteful behavior.

Favorites - Security

This panel of "favorites" gives a bird's eye view of whether or not security is intact at your organization. Security charts show flow of files and file activity, and who is involved. You can modify the charts to pinpoint  specific confidential files and sensitive areas of your network.  

Web Sites

This panel provides visualization of employee web surfing. The following charts show "top ten" information on:

Online Searching

This panel provides information about Internet searches:

User Activity / Inactivity

These charts show a time grid illustrating segments of time where users have logged on and are active or inactive at their computers, when they log out, and any recording interruptions or system clock changes.  In the first chart, use the arrows to cycle through a page for each user; in the second chart, view all users together day by day.

Email - All

These charts include all types of email communication. The first four show the "top ten" users in a category, and the last two give some important overall company information:

Email - Webmail Only

Webmail is separated into its own folder to show ways you can approach the problem of wasteful or inappropriate activity. The provided charts show:

The charts provided in this folder show the top ten of each of the following "takes" on application (program) usage:

Instant Messaging - Chat

The following "top ten" charts on chat activity are provided:

File Transfers

The charts in this folder are based on files moving across the network and Internet, including FTP, HTTP and other peer-to-peer connections.

Internet Connections

The following "top ten" charts track general Internet and bandwidth usage:

Keystrokes

The following "top ten" charts summarize keystroke activity on the network:

Keyword Alerts

These charts are based on Keyword Alerts instigated by user activity of any kind (keystrokes, web sites, searching, email, etc.) When Spector 360 detects the keyword, it sends an alert to a specified email address. The Dashboard tracks keyword alerts as events.
