The User Activity / Inactivity panel of Quick View displays User Time Sheets and Daily Time Sheets for users active on the network. Unlike other charts, you do not click the bars to view more details. Like other charts, however, buttons below the chart allow you to set Criteria, change Settings, go to the Events window, and preview a Report of the data.

User Time Sheet (Activity by User)

The predefined User Time Sheet shows activity, one user at a time. All activity for a day is represented on each row. Expand the Dashboard window, if necessary, so that you can see the scroll bar on the far right of the User Time Sheet and scroll to all dates within the time period.

A key appears below each User Activity chart. Green indicates time the user is logged on and actively typing, scrolling, or clicking. Blue indicates time the user is logged in but inactive—not interacting with the computer. White areas indicate time the user was not logged in. Symbols mark interruptions to recording and system clock changes.

To switch to another user:

Daily Time Sheet (Activity by Date)

The Daily Time Sheet behaves the same as the User Time Sheet, except it shows activity for all users (within the criteria selection), one day at a time. Use the scroll bar at the far right of the chart to view all users active on this date.

To switch to another date:

Data Grid

The User Activity / Inactivity Data tab displays the information about user activity used to make the chart. It includes the exact time when inactivity began and ended, and the exact time when recording was interrupted or the clock changed.

To view data in a grid:

Click the Data tab below the chart.  To print or export this same data, click the Events button below the chart and use the print and export features on the Events window. For a description of each field, see Recorded User Activity Events.

Zooming In and Out

Next to the chart key, a Zoom function lets you zoom in and out of the chart: from 100% to 1500%. The 100% Zoom setting may show as much as a day across the screen. The 1500% Zoom setting may show only a half an hour on screen.
