The User Explorer tool allows you to explore and analyze all activity of one user. You may only view users allowed by your Dashboard Login permissions. Start your investigation by selecting a single user from the All Users Folder. User Explorer allows you to "drill in" by activity type to find specific recorded events. In one Events Window, you have access to everything the Client Recorder has captured for this user within the specified criteria.   

Viewing User Events

User Explorer lists each user by:

To view activities of a user:

  1. Select User Explorer from the navigation tools.

  2. Select the All Users folder in the left navigation pane.

  3. Double-click a user in the right pane list.
    A Criteria box may open, allowing you to accept the default dates and computers or make changes to the General Criteria.  

Select Bypass Criteria Dialog on the Criteria box if you want to skip the Criteria box the next time you open this form. You can always adjust criteria from the User Events Window. Select Save Criteria to save changes for this form.

  1. Click OK on the Criteria box.  A separate User Events Window opens.
    If you see <No Data Available>, there was no data that matched your Criteria selections.

  2. When the User Events Window opens, select an Activity tab (Screen Snapshots, Web Sites Visited, Email, etc.).


     

  3. In the User Events Window, click Load Events in either the upper left Navigate pane or in the Summary pane to populate the lower Events pane with records. See Using the Events Window for complete information.

Use the Auto-Load feature to automatically load the currently selected Navigate or Summary group of events into the Events grid. Open the View menu and select Autoload Events.
