A Spector 360 Client is installed on each user's computer. The client records events and sends them to the Spector 360 Data Vault, where they are processed and added to the Database. Without interacting with the user's computer at all, you can use the Dashboard to query the database and view recorded events on any or all computers on your network.
It's important to understand the nature of data recorded by the Client so that you can query and filter the Dashboard intelligently. It's also important to base your use of the Dashboard on your organization's standards and "Acceptable Use Policy." Follow the links for each activity type to see what Spector 360 records.
