You must register your Serial Number to run Spector 360. When you register, you receive an Unlock Code that enables Client deployment for the number of licenses purchased. You will NOT be able to install the Client to record computers without the Unlock Code. If the Setup computer did not have the Internet connection required to register, or if you "Finish" the Setup before registering, follow these instructions.
To register your Serial Number:
Double-click the system tray icon for the
Primary Server.
On the Primary Server Administration window, click Register SN. The Serial Number Registration panel appears.
If the computer is connected to the Internet, click the Register button on the Serial Number Registration panel. A web browser window automatically opens to Step 2 of 2 of the online SpectorSoft Registration procedure. Your registration information has been sent. Wait to receive the Unlock Code in an email.
If the computer is NOT connected to the Internet, at the Serial Number Registration panel, use the Copy button to copy the Serial Number and paste it into a document, then Copy the Registration number and paste it into the document. Take the document with these numbers to a computer that has Internet connection. Open a web browser to the SpectorSoft Registration page on the Internet - http://www.spectorsoft.com/support/360_register.asp. Follow the instructions to use your Serial Number and Registration number to register, and then wait to receive the Unlock Code in an email.

The email containing the Unlock Code is sent to the email address of the contact who purchased Spector 360. |
When the email arrives, double-click on the Unlock Code in the email. Use Ctrl+C to copy it.
If you are at the Primary Server computer, use Ctrl+V to paste the code directly in the field at the bottom of the Serial Number Registration panel.
If you are at a different computer, paste the Unlock Code into a document and transport the document to the Primary Server computer. Open the Primary Server Administration window to the Serial Number Registration panel as described above, and paste the Unlock Code in the field at the bottom of the panel.
Click Unlock. If Spector 360 is successfully unlocked, a message confirms the number of Client Licenses for which your Serial Number is valid.
Click OK.
The Primary Server window now shows the Serial Number and licenses.
