When you create an Alert Profile, it's possible to type individual keywords in the "What" form, but it may be easier to use or set up a Keyword Group that covers all words you want to detect. For convenience, Spector 360 provides Keyword Groups, but you can also define your own.

System vs. Custom Keyword Groups
Spector 360 provides a set of Keyword Groups to use in your alerts and quickly cover "Bullying," "Cheating," and other categories of terms. The provided system groups may change with Spector 360 updates to keep current with the latest Internet problems.
Obviously, not all possible words are included in each list, and some words (e.g., "plagiarism") may elicit alerts from an innocent context. Be sure to review the words, choose a list carefully, and emphasize the need for Alert Operators (Recipients) to explore the context for alerts they receive. If you want to add words to a system group, you will need to create a new, custom group.
A custom keyword group can include any words, phrases, document titles, IP addresses, network paths, or other collection of characters to detect.
To view the contents of any Keyword Group:
Select Management
> Alert Profiles > Keyword Groups.
Double-click on a Keyword Group in the list - OR
Right-click on a group in the list and select Edit.
The Keyword Group window opens, revealing all words in the group in the right, "Selected" list. You cannot add or remove words from the list.

Master Login Only
Although you cannot add to or delete from provided Keyword Groups, you can add custom Keyword Groups that target scenarios or sensitive areas in your organization.
Create a Keyword
Group.
Click New on the Dashboard toolbar, or right-click
in the right pane and select New.
Pick and choose from any of the words in existing groups, and/or add your
own words. You can change words in a custom Keyword Group at any time,
and all Alert Profiles using that group are immediately changed (taking
effect as soon as applications or computers on the network are restarted).
See Keyword Group Definition.
Import a Keyword
Group or Groups:
Right-click in the right pane and select Import.
Either a CSV or XML list of keywords, formatted as described in Importing
Keywords and Groups can be processed and added to the Keyword Groups
Management list.
Delete a Keyword Group.
You can delete any predefined or custom Keyword Group that you don't
need. Select a group and click Delete on the toolbar,
or right-click on a Keyword Group and select Delete.
A message appears asking you to confirm the deletion and warning that
you cannot undo it. Click Yes to continue (or
No to cancel the operation). The Keyword Group is removed from the Dashboard
and from the Database; it cannot be recovered unless a Database Backup
is restored.
