Security Tab
This tab contains properties that are used by the Control Center to help protect the network against unauthorized Spector Client (Client) installs/uninstalls. When attempting to remotely install or uninstall a Client, the Control Center may request a user name and password credentials from the Spector CNE administrator to validate the requested task.

Figure 1: Control Center Properties - Security Tab
The Control Center always requires the entry of a network user name and password the first time a Client install/uninstall is performed.
If the User must provide credentials for each install/uninstall task checkbox is selected, the Control Center requires the Spector CNE administrator to supply credentials on every attempt to perform a Client install/uninstall
If the User must provide credentials for each install/uninstall task checkbox is not selected, the Control Center will temporarily store the credentials supplied in this property page or after the first install/uninstall task. This helps to speed up install/uninstall tasks to multiple computers during the same session.
Note:
The password is stored only for the current session. Thus, if the Control
Center is terminated, the password must be supplied again the next time
it is started
Currently, when logged on to the CNE Control Center computer as a Spector CNE administrator, users have full control over all aspects of the CNE installation. However, there may be desired situations where the CNE Control Center user only has access to specific items. For instance, it may not be important or desirable for a Human Resources representative or manager to change management or configuration settings when all that is required is to review the Client recordings. The CNE Domain Groups allow this flexibility.
When the Enable Privileges for CNE Domain Groups item is enabled, Spector CNE will use pre-configured Domain-Level Groups to determine who has access to specific views in the Control Center (Manage Computers, Configure Computers, and Monitor Computers).
