The Viewer

The Spector Viewer (Viewer) is a standalone software module that is able to open and read data files that contain events recorded by the Spector Client (Client).

The Viewer is launched from the Control Center when a specific computer is selected in the Monitor Computer view
The data files for the selected computer are loaded from the corresponding Data Vault folder and displayed for review and reporting by the user
The Viewer is used to review and report on events which have been restored from archive and are not part of the Data Vault by simply using the File>Open command to specify the folder from which to read the data files. The data files are read into the Viewer and arranged chronologically according to the event type
Events recorded for a specific computer include Snapshots, Web sites, Chats, Instant Messages, Emails, Keystrokes, URLs, Downloads, P2P, and Programs

Note: It is possible to run the Viewer without using the Control Center interface by running the Admin.exe program file in the Spector CNE installation folder.
