To import a keyword list:

  1. Open a text editor such as Microsoft Word or Notepad.

  2. Type the keywords, on each line.

  3. Save the file as a text (.txt) file.

  4. Open the Control Center.

  5. Go to the Alerts settings panels by progressing through the Deployment Utility (Manage Computers view) or by selecting it from Client Settings (Configure Computers view).

  6. Click the Import button next to the Keywords list box. The list loads into the box.

You can import more than one keyword list. Each list is appended to the keywords already displayed in the list. You must explicitly Delete words from the list.

You may want to save a keyword list that you have built up over time. Exporting the list saves it to a text file format, and you can import this list again if necessary.

To export a keyword list:

  1. Open the Control Center.

  2. Go to the Alerts settings panels by progressing through the Deployment Utility (Manage Computers view) or by selecting it from Client Settings (Configure Computers view).

  3. Click the Export button next to the Keywords list box.

  4. Specify a filename and folder for the text file, and Save the file.

When keywords are exported to a file, each line contains the keyword followed by a space and then either a 1 or 0. If the line does not end in a space and number “1” or a space and number “0”, if is assumed that Match whole word only is to be enabled and the entire line is the keyword.

Number “1” - Match whole word only is enabled for that keyword.

Number “0” - Match whole word only is NOT enabled for that keyword.
