Data Vault
When you click the Advanced button on the Control Center > Properties > Data Vault panel, the Data Vault Advanced Properties box appears. This is where you specify how the Data Vault should record and organize information: by user (first box checked) or by computer. This is also where you specify how users or computers will be "discovered" for monitoring from the Control Center.

Advanced options are:
Data Vault Record By User - Check this option to organize recorded data by user (rather than computer). This activates the Monitor Users view where you view recordings by user. Clear this option to organize recorded data by computer. This activates the Monitor Computers view, where you view recordings by computer.
Discover All Users From Data Vault - Available when recording "by User," this option gathers users for the Monitor Users list from the Data Vault. Any user recorded in the past or present who has records in the current Data Vault will be in the list.
Load Startup User List from File - Available when recording "by User," this option directs the Control Center to load a .XML file on startup to provide Monitor Users with a list of user names (rather than discovering the names from the Data Vault).
Edit button - Available when recording "by User," allows you to build or edit a UserConfig.XML file listing the users you wish to monitor. See Creating a List of Users.
Select button - Available when recording "by User," allows you to switch to a different UserConfig.XML file if you have one. The default file is UserConfig.XML, but the file does not exist until you build one. See Creating a List of Users.
Discover All Computers from Data Vault - Available when recording "by Computer" (the first option on the box is cleared) this option gathers the Monitor Computers list from the Data vault.
Get Computer List from Manage Computers View - Available when recording "by Computer," this option gathers the Monitor Computers list from the Manage Computers view. In Manage Computers, you create a list by adding computers, load computers from a list, or create a list from the network.
