The Windows Task Scheduler is a software component, which allows any script or program to be scheduled for execution at a particular time. When the script or program is run by the Task Scheduler, it is run in the background.

The Control Center requires that the Windows Task Scheduler is installed and enabled on each computer on which you would like to install the Client remotely. When you request a remote install, the Client Install file is  copied to the computer and scheduled for execution by the Task Scheduler.
