Use File > Save As when you are viewing Screen Snapshots to save the current or a select group of snapshots. The Save Snapshots dialog box appears.

Save one or more snapshots as an image (.jpg or .bmp) file as a video (.avi) file.
If you want individual, static graphic files, choose Images. If you want to create a "video" of a series of tagged or grouped snapshots, choose Video.
Image(s) - Save the current snapshot, all tagged snapshot, all snapshots in the date range, or a selected range of snapshots to image files. You will be able to choose .jpg or .bmp file format. If you select more than the one snapshot to save, each will be saved in its own image file.
Video - Save the current snapshot, all tagged snapshot, all snapshots in the date range, or a selected range of snapshots in a standard Windows video format Audio Video Interleave (avi) file. This format can be played back in Microsoft's Video for Windows. AVI files are limited to 320 x 240 resolution and 30 frames per second.
Select one of the following options to save single or multiple snapshots:
Current - Save the currently displayed snapshot.
Tagged - Save a series of tagged snapshots in image files or as a video. For more information, see Tagging Snapshots.
All - Save all snapshots as individual image files or as a single video file.
Selected Range - Save a series of snapshots using the snapshot sequence number. You may want to save 10 or 20 snapshots in a row. While you could save these one at a time, that would be a tedious process. If you want to save a series of snapshots, tag the first and the last snapshot of the series or use the Selected Range option, and click Save. If saving as an image, each snapshot will be saved as an individual file. If saving as a video file, there will be one file.
|
When saving multiple snapshots as images, the file name used will be the base file name and append the frame number after it. For example, if you choose “image.jpg” and have tagged frames 1, 7, and 8, the files created will be "image1.jpg, image7.jpg, and image8.jpg and so on. |
If you do not select a filename, filenames for image files automatically include the date and sequence number; for example, "Snapshot0829-325.jpg" is snapshot 325 in a loaded date range. Filenames for video files include the date: "Video0829.avi"
In the Save As box, you can select:
Filename: - The path and file name of the saved snapshot(s)
File Format: - The Save as option determines the file format options. If saving as an image, choose either JPG (default, Joint Photographic Experts Group file) or BMP (standard Windows bit-mapped graphic file). If video, the only option is AVI.
