Administrator's Guide
Install the Client Recorder manually for computers running under these operating systems. In general, if your network is a domain network (not a Windows Workgroup) and you are already remotely managing the Windows 98/ME computer as an Administrator, then you may already have the Windows 98/ME computer configured with the installation requirements. If you do not, simply follow the procedures for a manual install or manual uninstall.
You will be able to configure the Client remotely from the Control Center using Client Settings, and you will be able to start and stop and otherwise manage the Client.
By enabling Remote Administration on a Windows 98/ME computer, you can
To share C$ on Windows 98/ME:
Enable Remote Administration. Select Start, Settings, Control Panel and Passwords.
Select the Remote
Administration tab.

Click to check Enable
remote administration of this server.
The "Domain admins" group will be added to the list by default.
If you
are a member of the Domain Administrators group, you do not need to do
anything else. Click
OK. If
you are not a member, you will need to add your user account to the list
by clicking on the Add button.
In addition to providing access to C$, enabling Remote Administration
also enables Remote Registry
Service, if installed.
This service
is also required to allow the Control Center to communicate properly with
the Client computer.
