Control Center Navigation

Opening the Control Center

Launch the Control Center from the Windows Desktop. Open the Windows Start menu, select All Programs, Spector 360, and Spector 360 Control Center.

The Control Center provides various views and menus options to remotely manage your Spector 360 installation.

Menu - Drop-down commands. You may also right-click on an item in a pane to access commands.
Toolbar Buttons - These icons provide shortcuts to most common tasks. The icons are dimmed if unavailable for the current selection.
Panes - The Control Center has two panes:
Scope - Displays the hierarchy Console tree of the various administrative views.
Results - Displays the networked computers or users as a result of selecting an item in the Scope View.
Status Bar - Displays information about the current view and selection.

File - Options provides for disk cleanup of stored Control Center profiles.
Action - These pull-down command tasks change depending on which view is selected
View - add/remove columns, large/small icons, list, detail, customize
Window - window management
Help - open help
